Harvey is uniquely experienced in governmental issues involving environmental, health and safety and governmental regulation. During his career he helped draft and pass important regulations at the local, state and federal levels. He has dealt with such issues in court, local proceedings, state legislature, and in testimony and discussion in Congress. He has represented municipalities, a port district, school districts, a State and multi-state compacts and organizations.
Harvey currently represents a Florida municipality respecting its water pollution related issues.
He is a member of the City, County & Local Government Law, Environmental & Land Use Law, and the Administrative Law Sections of the Florida Bar Association.
He is a member of the Local Government Law Committee of the Palm Beach County Bar Association.
Harvey has counseled clients and appeared in zoning hearings to advocate for and against zoning permissions and changes.
He can assist with Florida Water District, water encroachment, shoreline protection, and Coastal Zone management issues.
